8 volunteers went in to carry on the mahi up Comet Rd. It was a hot day, but the predicted rain held off. We cleared significant areas on both sides of the road heading towards the roadend. Lots of smaller trees in areas previously covered by the ground crews - so big saving to DoC not having to send crews in there again - ever we hope! We cleared 2,862 pines, bringing our total to 24,679.
